Mr. Robert J. Muise, Jr., of Lynn age 86 years, died Thursday at The Atrium in Danvers after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Florence “Betty” Muise with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Marie R. (Comeau) Muise, Sr. He attended St. Jean the Baptiste School in Lynn. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy in 1943 and served in the European African Theatre during WW II. Bob was employed at A & P Supermarkets for many years and retired from Bama Shrimp Company as a seafood distributor. He was an avid golfer and member of Gannon Municipal Golf Course, where he carded a hole-in-one on the sixth hole. He also enjoyed bowling, cooking and gardening. He is survived by one sister, Irene Mulcahy of Berlin, MA, two sister-in-laws, Patricia Cornacchia and Nora Dugas of Lynn, one brother-in-law, Daniel Mulcahy of Berlin, MA, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Raymond and Paul, Muise, and Jeannette Bourgeois. Service Details: Funeral will be from the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Tuesday at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St Pius V Church at 10:30 AM, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
